It was my first time trying the iconic ‘fish and chips’ dish and I will say it did not disappoint. The fish was so nice and fresh (loved the batter too) and the chips were also really good. The long line to get our food was for a reason for sure, definitely worth the wait tho.

Excellent quality Fish, Chips & Peas, we called in during the week at lunch time and were able to find a good table inside, all four of us were really happy with the quality of food, service and seating.

I was greeted with an amazing welcome. The staff were helpful in the case of my partner being milk-in-tolerant and were very helpful with this. Food was also amazing and I would definitely return

Amazing food. And great option for fish lovers and not alike. The batter and chips weren't overly greasy even though they were obviously freshly cooked. If you are looking for a decent chippy give it a go! The black pudding is freshly made and it's a whole sausage battered, rather than slices. The picture below is jumbos sausage l, and black pudding r to show the sizes. (The gravy is not to be missed).

It was a very cold evening and we found a very warm restaurant near the sea in the main road in Tynemouth. The service was excellent, we could sit down in a very nice table, the restaurant seems you are inside a ship and decorated with cosy lights. The fish and chips was served very hot and in a take away box with proper cutlery. They were cleaning the floor as it was late but they attended to everyone. Highly recommended.

Fantastic cod and chips. The batter was crispy and the fish was chunky, and it was only a regular portion size. Very fresh and well worth the visit. One of the best around. 10/10.

This is the best fish and chips around and the staff here are so friendly. Had chips and curry sauce with batter bits and it was absolutely delicious and well deserved after a few beers the night before!! Well worth a visit if you are in Tynemouth. Thanks!!
